Supermodel is a Java-based website content management system developed by Cactuslab, a multimedia studio in Auckland, New Zealand. The rationale behind Supermodel is twofold. Firstly, the software represents the semantic structure of site content, rather than being tied to the way this content is presented on the website. Secondly, the software provides a straightforward model for integration with interface templates, and imposes no restrictions on the display of content.
